Hi
RogueKnightElf ,
1. You will be evaluated against Indian citizens as an international applicant. The only leverage you might have here is that you have a certain years of international work experience and familiarity with the country and existing network where you want to find work post MBA.
2. Your score is borderline eligible for the demographic you would be competing with (Indian demographic) for these top schools. You have not provided your GMAT score break up but I would be concerned if you have a lower than average Quant score for target schools for your demographic .
3. Definitely re attempt, you may be able to get an interview invite from a couple of these schools, however to improve your prospects I suggest you focus on improving your GMAT.
If you are looking for professional guidance on how present a stellar application as an Indian applicant at top B schools, do reach out.
Regards

Hi,
I am a 24 YO Indian Citizen with US Permanent Residence (PR) status. I have a total work exp. of 3.5 years, working in non-tech space (one with a leading Indian E-com startup and the other with a global Beverages giant). Have studied Chemical engineering from one of the Top 5 Undergrad schools of India. Have already given the GMAT and
scored 700 (3rd attempt). I plan to apply in this round of fall admissions:
My Target schools are
Haas, Booth, Kellogg, Duke, Tuck & GSB (Highly Ambitious)I had the following doubts regarding my B-School application:1. For the given B-Schools, I wanted to know will I be assessed against international students or USA citizens during the admission process ?
2. A follow up on the above Q, if competing against US Citizens, is my score & YOE good enough for the target schools?
3. If my GMAT score is below the range, should I consider re-attempt, given that i have already done 3 attempts ( 650, 690, 700).
This is my first time posting here, if not the right forum - please be kind & direct me to the right channel
Thanks in advance
