Hi guys,
Since I am from Europe and the Gmat is a originally a US test, I wondered about some of the differences in the measurement units. I for example have no clue how many inches/feet are in one mile, nor do I know how many dimes a dollar is worth. I have seen some questions, in which conversion is important, so I wondered if I should learn those conversion rates by heart, or not? Do you know if there is some restriction to these questions outside of the US? I mean, is it possible, that the CAT doesn't give you such questions outside of the US, because this concerns knowledge that has no particular importance for the GMAT as such.

Hi mate,
If you encounter problems with ft/miles/dimes/etc then most likely you will be given the conversion rate.
but form what I understood, GMAT now gives questions specific to the region. If you are in Europe, most likely you will get questions with meters/kilos/etc.

Alright, thank you very much for your response. Glad to hear that, since I felt like there could be more such cases which I probably wouldn't have thought of!
