US vs. CAN spelling?

I haven't been able to find any reference to this, and was thinking about the written (essay) portion, and how this might affect scoring. If anything it would be a very minimal score difference, but might as well get it right.

While I'll be taking the GMAT in a Canadian testing facility, would US spelling actually be considered the "more correct" way to type?

Specifically I'm referring to "Color" (US) vs. "Colour" (CAN), and other words like "Center" (US) "Centre" (CAN). I'm guessing I should be using the US spelling, any thoughts?

Hi Jonas, I dont think that spelling is a major issue while writing the essays. Essays are being marked on the basis of content & tone of the passage, minor spelling mistakes are normally ignored by GMAC. Having said that I believe that if the spelling mistakes are quite a big in number then it can be a point of concern. As far as your example of color is concerned, I think it comes under minor issue & will not be considered a mistake.

Test date is Friday the 13th of august. Only 5 days left now. Brushing up on a few rate problems and some DS questions overall.

Still having a few issues, mostly with the quant side of things, and looking for a 650 score on test day.

I would stick with the US spelling but as Hussain mentioned - it is not a major concern.
