Alright, I gave it another shot at emailing MAcc admissions and they responded. You need 4.0 units for the prerequisite so I would assume you need to take both being that they are only 2.0 units.

Hey Blerta,

How is it going?
So it means 2 courses of the" Principles of Accounting" is equivalent to "Intro of Financial Accounting"?
I took "Intro of Accounting" when I was in college and it was 3 credits. Is it considered equivalent and enough?

you only have to take one class.

I already took Acct 1 before i found out about how they did not recommend community college courses. I emailed them asking if I should retake it at UCLA Ext and they said 'No, it's fine'. hope this was helpful

Hi,

I contacted them a few months ago and they said they accept UC Berkeley extension courses and those are only 3 credit semesters each I believe. I hope that helps.

Best,
