I'm deciding between these two programs for a part time MBA.
Relevant factors:
It looks like cost is going to be about the same between the two.
I currently work in corporate finance and I'm not looking to do a big switch in fields - not interested in ib or consulting. If I had the chance I might go for an LDP or eventually try to make the jump to strategy, but I'm also happy to stay in corporate finance and climb.
I expect that I'll spend the entirety of my working years in the LA area. If I were to move (probably <5% chance) I don't see myself leaving the west coast.
I did attend USC for undergrad, but not specifically Marshall.
In this situation, does one offer clear advantages over the other?
Appreciate any advice.

This is a fairly common dilemma for people living in the LA area. I’ve heard people say that they have Trog network so now they will go to Andersen for a different network or I’ve heard people say they are forever type of a thing and double down on it.
I don’t think there’s a big enough rival between the two programs that you would be a defect or anything like that so I don’t think there’s a risk of that or at least I don’t remember it being.
Your primary network for recruiting will probably be some of your classmates as the very first and most powerful resource. Otherwise recruiting in part-time programs is under emphasized and Is not a focus.
Your secondary network will be your own network and then I would say the third one would be alarms of the part-time program. Your fourth layer of network would be full-time program and then your fifth layer would be undergrad alums in the fifth layer will be super weak.
Honestly I can argue either program. I can’t think of a big rock or a big reason why you would pick one over another. Sorry.
This may be a stupid reason to make a choice but House campus safety and traffic for you to get to classes at USC compared to Brentwood? honestly if you go to school for 2 1/2 or three years, traffic will be a big factor as well as proximity to your classmates but that’s kind of hard to predict.

Thanks for the input, it's definitely appreciated.
The commute is something I actually have thought about because USC's campus is significantly closer to me. USC is close enough that I could take evening classes after work. With UCLA,I doubt I'd be able to get there in time, so my only realistic option would be the Saturday all day group.
