Hi guys!
I'm having a hard time picking between the schools. Here is a little bit about my background:
Female, 26 years old, Indian
GMAT: 710 (low quant score)
GPA: 88% (studied in India where percentages are used)
Undergrad: Not a branded university in India - but also pursued and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in my first attempt
Work experience: 3 year articleship in the Big 4
+ 1.5 years in the valuation team at another big 4
+ 1.5 years at an early-stage VC in Bangalore, India
Programs I have been accepted to:
- USC Marshall (50k scholarship)
- ISB (no scholarship)
- Fletcher (MIB program - 50k scholarship - have asked for more)
Post-MBA: stay in the investment space (VC, PE) or perhaps work for a start-up. If I go to Fletcher, it will probably be to work at an international org like the World Bank, IFC, ADB, etc (in their investment arms).
I have already decided to defer ISB by a year since I am not ready to begin in less than 10 days. If I choose to do ISB I will extend my internship (see below) and travel a bit.
I have an exciting 3-month internship lined up in South Africa that begins in May (and the option of extending that internship all the way up to December).
Need inputs ASAP!!!!
