Do you think I will encounter any suspicion for using the whiteboard during CR? For example, the system will mark that I look away during CR too often, and my results will come out much later than usual due to admin review? Or will the proctor constantly ask me to show my board, thus wasting my valuable time?

No, I do not think that will look suspicious. Many people take notes when doing CR questions, so I would not worry about any of that.

Hi kkk20,

Using a notepad/noteboard during your GMAT is a typical (and expected) aspect of taking the Exam - so doing so during any section of the GMAT should be fine. To your concerns though, when you do 'look away' from your computer screen, it should really only be to look at your note pad. If you are frequently looking in some other direction (such as 'above' or past your screen), then the Test Moderators might find that activity to be suspicious (re: maybe someone 'off-camera' is helping you to answer questions). Obviously, that type of activity is not the only factor that can lead to an Exam review - but assuming that you're not going to try to actively cheat during the Exam, you likely have nothing to worry about in terms of your Official Score being certified.
