To make the veggie platter, George needs to select 4 vegetables out of the vegetables options available,
The number of platters will be nC4, where n is the number of vegetables available, hence to answer we need to know the number of vegetables available.

St1: number of available vegetables = 10.
SUFFICIENT.

St2: The choices are black-eyed peas, corn on the cob, and mashed potatoes, among seven others. Hence, the choices are 3+7 = 10.
SUFFICIENT.

Answer = D
