why option E is not correct.
The correct option should explain why
United States manufacturers will probably maintain significant production levels. The reason for maintaining production levels cannot be that the current market for solar-power generators in the United States is very limited. Hence option E is wrong.
Why cant it be the reason when the question states that demand will increase with the funding? Stating the current mkt is limited and demand will increase with funding explains "maintaining" significant production levels better than having comptt advantage ?
Am I going out of bounds of the argument ? is it far fetched ?
I am sort of with you here...
Ro_007 it seems the fact that the market is under-developed and they are increasing the marketing efforts, it should help. However, thinking about it really hard seems to flip the question upside down and weaken the conclusion. If the current demand is low, that may mean there is a great opportunity or may mean the market is really not going to move much and even if you double the sales with marketing efforts it may not enough to compensate for the EU market loss....
Not loving this question however, so I am going to tweak the answer choices. Thank you for brining it up. I have provided you with 2 weeks of the tests for your help.
