Bunuel Lynn does bring the additional evidence to refute David's argument. Then why can B right?

Hi!

I wonder, in case "may" or "can" was added to B could it be in theory correct?

"conceding that his evidence is valid but drawing attention to other evidence that MAY / CAN refute his argument."

Thanks!

Interesting question. If you add may/can to B, it would probably still not be quite right, as that additional evidence could not refute the argument. Neither side is basically winning and presenting opposing views that do not refute each other (in my opinion)
