Value of a PT-MBA from Chicago GSB 11 Feb 2008, 21:01

I am curious to know your opinion about the value of doing a PT-MBA from Chicago GSB vs. doing it from a school that's classified in the trans-elite category (around 15-20). If I do get into the PT program at GSB, it will be for the weekend program. I am wondering how much I will be able to network in the weekend program for which I will have to commute, as opposed the other PT-MBA program, which is local to me.

Any thoughts/ideas?

I don't know exactly how Chicago GSB works compared with other PT MBA's. I know that Stern and UCLA are pretty good programs. However, I have to believe from a brand perspective that a trans-elite MBA does not have nearly the same worth as a Chicago GSB MBA.
