Assumption questions are special and you'll do best with a special way of approaching them. In an assumption question, you are looking for the answer choice that the conclusion REQUIRES (desperately) to be true. Envision a house built upon stilts: the conclusion is the house, and the assumption is a stilt. If the assumption turns out to be faulty, the whole house falls down.

As mentioned above, the Negation technique is powerful on Assumption questions ... if you negate an answer choice, and the result would destroy your conclusion, then you have found the correct answer.
