Hi guys! what accuracy is necessary for a V36 in CR ?
I have at the moment in OG books: 80/90% easy - 60-65% medium - 50-60% hard
I'm afraid I should definitely increase medium and hard ..... what do you suggest?
And also what about SC RC (not yet done many exercises)

Scoring in GMAT is not completely about accuracy. It is more about consistency. We can consider two scenarios:
1. You get 4 questions right and every 5th question wrong. This way you get an accuracy of about 80%. However, you're consistent.
2. You do 12 questions right and then next 3 wrong and you keep on doing that. This way your accuracy is still 90% but you're getting way more questions wrong back to back and hence lose on consistency. An adaptive test would think that you're doing bad on hard questions and give you lower difficulty ones.
Hence, aiming for accuracy is a good thing but once you're over 70%+, it is more about consistency.

Hi mamu10,
About a week ago, you posted that you had scored 490 on a recent CAT. Did you review that CAT and fill out a Mistake Tracker/Error Log? I ask because your performance on FULL-LENGTH CATs (taken under realistic conditions) is a far better indicator of how you might score on the Official GMAT (vs. working on question sets in a book).
