My average verbal score currently is 35ish based on some of the past mocks. I wish to take it to early 40s. Can anyone suggest improvement strategy as well as some free resources that could be utilised? Thanks in advance!

Hi KVKool,
You might find the below recording helpful. Do go through the recording to understand the right way to prepare to push your Verbal score to 40's.
You can attend our free webinar series that we are currently running to learn a few strategies that will help you solve questions in a methodical way. You can register for the webinar series using the below link.
The first step is to identify the composition of your current score and the composition of your target score i.e. what are your strengths and weaknesses and where will the improvement come from. This will allow you to create a targeted plan of action so that your success is no longer a guessing game. Below are a few combinations that can lead to a V35 score:
1. SC - 86%ile CR - 81%ile, RC - 49%ile ---> In this case it is clear that maximum improvement will come from RC. 2. SC - 97%ile CR - 49%ile, RC - 57%ile ---> In this case improvement will come from CR and RC. 3. SC - 59%ile CR - 84%ile, RC - 73%ile ---> In this case it is clear that maximum improvement will come from CR.
If you can get the specific areas of improvement from the mocks you have already taken do that, or you can take a free SIGma-X mock. These mocks give you detailed analytics to identify where you are faltering and where you need to improve to reach your target score.
Follow the steps mentioned below to take SIGma-X mock test:
Once you take the test, you can write to our team at support@e-gmat.com for a detailed analysis of your performance and a plan to reach your target GMAT score.
Regards, Aditee
