I've also found Cambridge to be aligned with PVue in terms of the level of difficulty... and Cambridge is adaptive.

How many tests does Cambridge have? In the version I have, it has only 1 CAT.

Hmm...I found Cambridge easier than MGMAT, but more in line with GMATPrep...

I got access to Cambridge through my enrollment with MGMAT course. I've taken it 4 times without many repeats. I think you can probably take it up to 6 times until repeats start becoming an issue.

I had the same experience. I found MGMAT more difficult than GMATPREP, and I hate to admit but I almost saw a fall of close to 90 points so dropped from 600's to 500s which is a huge blow to my confidence. I guess for me its going to be : study like there is no tomorrow....

Quant is ok, i still dropped like there but not so bad.

But verbal I dropped from the GMATPrep of 34 to a 28 in MGMAT and I was like  wierd ones were ofcourse the CR which are some what different and yes RC was hard, long science passages

I kind of get hit in Inference questions in RC, any suggestion for that?

Still have 2 more MGMAT exams to go through. What do you guys say? Should I not attempt these and download GMATPrep several times.... just practice with them?

My verbal dropped from a 43-44 on GMATPrep to 40 on the MGMAT. I think I saw questions on MGMAT for which I don't agree with the OA (especially in critical reasoning).

SC was quite representative.

Math, well score dropped from 50 on GMATPrep to 44 on MGMAT :(

And yes, its the same Cambridge CAT I'm taking about, got the same one through MGMAT. Found quant pretty easy, and verbal comparable to GMATPrep.

Over the past 7 days I have taken GMATPrep#1 and Cambridge CAT#2 and the scores were virtually identical (20 point difference). Another interesting point, I took Cambridge CAT #1 last December the day before the official test and the score differential was only 10 points. As far as the 550-650 range is concerned, I can personally attest to the accuracy of Cambridge.

Matt, this is good information. Taking into account all the inputs, I think I'm still about 20-30 points away from my target score. Puts things in perspective....:) I do have 4-5 of the Cambridge tests remaining and one of the MGMAT, so I think this should be good evaluation of any progress I may make :)

Yes, that screen shot is the same Cambridge software that I have.
