Hi Guys ,

I have my exam scheduled in 4days
i have exhausted all my official mocks
need to gauge my performance in verbal

90-100% accuracy in 500+ level qn
70% accuracy in 600+ level qn
30-40% accuracy in 700+ level qn

what score can i expect in GMAT?

KarishmaB bb @scottestprep GMATNinja GmatKnightTutor

You will know your verbal performance in 4 days. Trying to gauge it right now is a waste of time. Since only 4 days are left, I don't think you are considering re-scheduling if its not up to the mark, so why bother. Focus on a last ditch effort to improve it instead. Review CR question types and go through the grammar material of SC that you used. In the last two days, relax, sleep on time, eat healthy home made food and try to maintain a positive frame of mind.

Hi naveengmat15,

Since you are so close to your Official Test Date, you have to be careful about trying to do too much studying. In these last few days, you should limit your studies to general practice and light review (NO CATs and NO 'cramming') - you would be better served by getting some extra rest so that you can go into Test Day calm, clear-headed and ready to work.

When was the last time you took a CAT/mock and how did you score? What is your overall Goal Score for the GMAT?

Hi naveengmat15,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

If you took your Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Hi naveengmat15,

If you are planning to apply to Business School sometime soon - and you are interested in any highly-competitive Schools - then you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to implement those suggestions, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

I've also sent you a PM with some notes and additional questions.
