If you’re choosing between classic and focus editions, decide what you like or hate more sentence correction or data insights section.
As an LSAT test taker, you should be able to do really well on the verbal section.
You can always address any quantitative concerns that admissions may have by taking an MBA math course….
But your time is running out to take the classic GMAT… that would be my only concern is that you only have about six weeks left and likely it will be a mad rush for test center spots at the end of January.
I would not have any concerns whatsoever about GM that has been around for decades. It will still be dominating admissions. We have been running a poll about people applying in 2024 round one and majority is still planning to apply with the classic gym score… surprisingly so lots of folks are kind of on the score and you definitely will not be an odd man or woman out.
Posted from my mobile deviceThank you for the response! I plan to take my first attempt within the next 6 weeks regardless of which test version. I would definitely lean towards doing better on SC than DI just because that’s more of a wildcard for everyone. Would that make you think I should hammer SC and geometry for a few weeks and take a crack at the old gmat first?
I’m surprised to hear most folks are still taking the old gmat for R1 2024, do you think that’s just because it’s more familiar? It seems like the focus score being a little harder to interpret could benefit the marginal applicant.
