Hi all!
I'm not sure if I just missed this somewhere but I was wondering what the differences between the two Veritas practice tests are. This is how it's presented on the website:
"Official Veritas Prep Practice Tests"
"These seven exams employ full Computer Adaptive Testing / Item Response Theory scoring and delivery to provide the most authentic GMAT exam experience available outside of the official test itself. Use these tests to gauge your scoring progress and simulate official test conditions."
"Veritas Prep GMAT Simulator"
"The Veritas Prep GMAT Simulator exams are designed to simulate the computer-adaptive nature of the GMAT and to provide a reasonable estimate of your score. Use these tests to develop test day stamina, practice answering questions under timed and adaptive conditions, and identify mistakes that you make under pressure."
I don't really understand the difference other than the screen layout in the "Simulator" is more like the real thing. Both are fully timed CATs... am I just completely missing something obvious here? I haven't been taking any of the "Simulator" ones so far. Have I just shot myself in the foot?

You are absolutely fine, don't worry.
"Official Veritas Prep Practice Tests" are the latest ones and should be done first. They give you a good idea of your current level.
You can take the Simulator tests later for further practice.
