Is the live course much better than the self-study option? The live course is more than 2x the self-study option and it seems you get access to all of the same questions, exams, and books in the two. However, you don't get to watch the classes live / have access to teacher. Seems like self-study is much better value. Any other opinions?

Imo it depends on what kind of learner you are. If you are someone who can go through volumes of book/vids without any problem and with ample motivation, self study will suffice. But if you are someone who does better in an interactive classroom environment with back and forth discussions, need motivation and that occasional kick from the instructor then live class will be more efficient. I've read in the instructors reviews that they even kicked out some students from a live class as they did not do the pre-class reading assignment so they don't repeat it next time. ;)
