Do applying Extreme answers(variance test) to questions work differently than yes/no test.
in case of applying extreme answers correct answer should strengthen as well as weaken. or it will give same as yes/no test
Can you give any official correct answer where yes/no test just either weaken or strengthen.

Namaste ma'am do you agree some of the CR questions are inherently wrong? And how to deal with such questions to get the right answer despite the logical realistic gap.

No, the official ones aren't. You wouldn't have to deal with them during the test. Even if you find one or two that may make you uncomfortable in official prep material, they will likely be those that weren't wrong per se but couldn't clear the very strict GMAT acceptability criteria. So they may not have been live at any time.
GMAC collects enough data about every question from people across the globe (as experimental questions) before making it count in its scoring.
