While IR score is not as important as Verbal and Quant -- a 0th percentile score will certainly stick out in the minds of admissions. At 690, it may not be worth it to retake the test. But if you were any lower than 680, I would recommend a retake as the IR score doesn't have to be stellar -- but at the same time, you don't want to draw negative attention to it. A score of 4 or 5 would be fine. A 1 sticks out.

The IR is not that important but if they notice that you have 0 percentile it is impossible that it will have a positive or even neutral effect...how did you prepare for the IR?
