Hello people,
I gave my GMAT today and scored as follows:
V42 - 96th Percentile
Q48 - 73rd Percentile
IR - 8 - 92nd Percentile
Scaled score - 730 - 96th percentile.
I want to apply for Msc in Finance at HEC, ESADE, Bocconi, EDHEC and RSM Erasmus. But now I am worried that the super skewed result and comparatively low quant score, I will harm my profile rather than boost it. Has anyone applied to these universities and gotten in under similar circumstances?
I am very nervous now and am wondering if I should retake the test. Please advice me on what to do. It would help me decide.

First of all congrats on the very good score.
It might reflect that your quants score is low, but it is not that low after all.
You have strong fundamentals and IR 8 demostrates that.
If the schools specifically say that they need a certain percentile cut off, then go for the retake. Else you are good to go ahead and apply.

Judging based on the score alone, that is competitive enough to apply to those programs. Beyond the score, it will come down to academic performance and essay strength among other things. What was your undergraduate performance like?
