Welcome to the gmatclub manishsrms !

Just go this link nink-s-guide-on-how-to-navigate-through-gmatclub-for-newbies-76938.html?view-post=579645#p579645

Also, I'll not suggest you to start with OG12! You should go through basics of Math and Verbal before touching official material.

Link shared by dokiyoki above is good enough to select books.

I think the MGMAT guides are great. They do a good job of covering the fundamentals.

hi friends,

Thanks for your valuable suggestions. I'll go through the information provided. One thing mentined here is very true that I need to find my baseline first. I'll do that & will get back in case I feel I need your help.

Yes, take one CAT from gmatprep or any other free available CATs to access yourself and then you can decide accordingly on your study plans!

MGMAT guides are best place to start with. They teach all the basic concepts. I am already using it for Quants and there is improvement in my quants.
Along with it OG12 is also needed.

I would suggest go to www.mba.com and get used to the terms, pattern, the duration etc what are these SC,Cr etc. After a week or so,give a diagnostic test. There are few like gmatclub, manhattan etc or the best gprep. Then analyze and plan your study.I can assure you have come to the right forum.Plenty of quality material with helpful friends everywhere.happy gmatting bro!

hi Frinds,

I've decided to start my preparation with MGMAT guides. As I need to study the basic concepts as well. That's why I think that would be a good start. I'll also be an actie member of this forum to discuss some issues & concerns if any.

Thanks for your kind suggestion.

Best Regards
Maneesh
