Hello fellow GMATClubbers,
It's been a while I haven't written on the forum. I had another professional exam to study for which I wrote at the end of September. I was planning only to take one week off which turned into a total of 3 weeks off. I've also been advised to stay off the forums. I realize that this advice was given to me for a reason (Last year when I started with my GMAT prep I did not use my time effectively).
Long story short: I have a 6 week study plan (week 2 is almost complete). I've done through the Manhattan Number Properties guide and am completing the Equations, Inequalities and VICs guide by tomorrow. I've also done a couple of chapters in the Manhattan Sentence Correction guide. I have not done a practice CAT since earlier this summer which I scored quite badly (not good prep and focus).
Basically, in the next 4 weeks I plan to complete the remaining 3 Manhattan Quant guides (reading, taking notes and OG questions). I plan to do the same for the Verbal guides although I don't find the CR and RC guides that usefull. Also the advanced sections of the guides are worrying me - I believe I will skip it for SC and Word Translations.
Time frame: good news is I'm self-employed with little work commitments so I have the next 4 weeks (as well as the last 2 weeks) to study just for the GMAT.
Bad news: I feel I get tired during the day and only end up studying about 5-6 hours (I study 5-6 days per week). When I'm at the library, especially towards the end of the study day, I can't wait to get out of there because I feel totally saturated. I look forward to going training at the gym or just chilling out. I feel I use to be more focused than this. Realistically, I believe I can pull off 6-7 hours per day for the next 4 weeks (studying 5-6 days per week for a total of aprox. 30-35 hours.. maybe 40 hours per week but that would be pushing it). I feel like I get bored and/or discouraged with the material.... motivational help?
My exam is in exactly 4 weeks so I'll be studying until likely the last day available. My target school's round deadline is a few days later and I really hope I get the 'acceptable' score I want not to have to redo the exam a month later before their final deadline.
Some more good news... I don't need a 700+ score like most GMATClubbers here. I'll be very happy with 650 and up and will even settle for 620+. I need at least a 600 and am hoping to to do better than 600 or 610. Less than 600 is not acceptable.

What are you scoring now on GMAT PREP practice test not MGMAT?
Also think about this why go hard for 5- 6 hours when you can split that time up over the course of the day if you are able to?
Here's a story:
A friend of mine left early on one friday night when we were all hanging out, he said he wanted to go home and study! It was 12:00 and I asked him how much time can you even get in now? He said "eh about 30 min"
I asked is it even worth it and he told me those 30 minutes add up over time.
Studying doesn't have to be 5-6 hours of insanity....who decided that? why not try 3 then gym then 3 for tomorrow and see how it goes?
As far as being bored by the material, its on you to make it fun and take it as a challenge, we all had to do this. now man up and get to work! If you cant, then change that avatar ASAP

You are right about doing 3-4 hours, break (lunch, gym) and then doing another 3-4 hours.
I have not done a CAT exam in months and I don't believe how I did a few months ago is realistic anyway. I'll do GMAT Prep 1 in the next few days and then report back the score.
Other than that, is my study plan and score achievable?
