I am back in action on this forum!!Had been away for almost an year!!Planning to retake GMAT after a disappointing first take(670) and gonna apply for mba 2012.

Welcome back! Since you have taken such a long break, it will be interesting to see how you fare on your second attempt. But a 670 is by no means bad at all (assuming, of course, that the verbal and quant scores were roughly in balance).

Thanks. I belong to the large pool of India IT Males and giving GMAT another shot since there is still lot of time for R1 applications to open and a higher score would boost my chances,even though only slightly .
Previous sectional scores were decent(Q47 V 35) , however , i believe i can stretch the quant score to 50 and maintain a similar score in verbal.
Working out ways to improve quant scores presently, any tips would be hugely appreciated.
