This is my ultimate weakness in Quant! I am unable to consistently solve Data Sufficiency problems regarding information on multiples, divisibility, etc...I am using the MGMAT guides, just completed my second run with NP, but have been struggling. I've solved the MGMAT questions, OG12 questions, with error log, and still can only answer less than half of the DS questions. I've watched the Thursday with Ron sessions on Prime Factorization and couldnt quite grasp the material. I am fine with GCF / LCM, but it's the DS questions that kill me...I know it's so low-level but does anyone have suggestions on attacking this?

Try the chapter Number Properties in MATH Book. Thereafter, look for DS questions with the tag Number Properties.

This used to be my biggest weakness and is now probably my greatest strength. I just read the MGMAT number properties book chapter 10 like five times until I finally understood it. It made me see number properties in a different light. This may sound weird, but I started seeing numbers as human bodies and their prime factors, factors, exponents and all the other properties as individual skeletal parts that the human body is built off. When I encounter a number properties problem, I see all kinds of body parts being thrown off and asked which part is present in a certain combination of numbers.

You probably have problems with the basic too, so I suggest the OG Quant review + MGMAT number properties.

Trust me, I started from a 490 and now almost at 700. GMAT can be beat by hardwork.

I had/am having same trouble with number properties.. Manhattan didn't do it for me.. Definately try the GMATclubBook.. Good luck!
