Hi Guys,
I am in a bit of a dilemma regarding scheduling of my GMAT.
Initially, I was planning to apply for the 2012 intake, hence planned my GMAT for Aug - Sep this year.
However, due to some personal reasons, I am now planning to apply for the 2013 intake.
Now, I am thinking whether it would be a good idea to go ahead with my GMAT this or should I wait for a few months and then go for it (probably around May - June 2012).
One of the reasons why I would prefer it this year is just to get it over over with I am already 60 - 70% prepared. I would have to spend some time again to come to the level I am currently at (I am being a little lazy here).
Just to add, I plan to apply for the top 10 - 15 global schools in addition to the top Asian schools (HKUST, NU, ISB, INSEAD Singapore etc.).
Please suggest how much impact this would have on my application.

Since the GMAT scores are valid for 5 years, I think you can take it now and get it over with 
You're already 60-70% prepared, so why not put in some more time and boost it too 100% and write the test?
Also... If you were to give the GMAT this year and somehow the scores were below your expectations, you would have enough time to prepare well and re-take the exam next year.
I would encourage you to run that last mile and give it a shot and the see how things plan out

I think you should go for the test as per the schedule. If you think your score is not good, you can have a retake next year.
