Go to the gym and run for one hour, and then try to study. Running improves blood circulation, giving you more oxygen. Seriously, try to exercise.

This may or may not work for you, but I'll tell you what I do. I study one concept at a time, and really try to hammer it in by reading my material as thoroughly as I can and by doing as many practice problems as possible on that concept. I will also write a note card or two for each concept outlining formulas, strategies, rules, or anything else that is important, but possibly easy to forget. I also include example problems from time to time.

I spend a few days to a week on each concept, and by now I have dozens of note cards which I try to look over when I have free time at work, I also try to read over some of them before I go to bed. This way even though I am focused on just one particular concept at a time, I am constantly reviewing everything and keeping it fresh.

Additionally I have found it very beneficial to do a certain number of practice problems from the OG every day. I also have about a month before my test so I have been doing 8 ps questions a day, 6 ds, 5 rc, 5 sc, and 5 cr, and I keep an error log. In this manner I will finish every problem in the OG with some time to spare before test day so that I can review any missed problems. I bring this up because it is also a way to make sure you are practicing varied problem types every day and keeping things fresh.

Good luck with your test.

rjdunn03 Thanks.. i have started making the note cards (although i should have started doing this earlier).. n yes i think i will start practicing OG problems everyday. I was basically focusing on one topic for a few days but i will have to start practicing ps, ds, rc , cr and sc everyday. I am running out of time n that really scares me.

Entwistle
Always learn a concept with the intention of teaching it to someone. When trying to understand the solution, ask yourself "How will I explain this solution to another person"

Thanks Entwistle for this advice. This was i guess i wont land up forgetting the concepts.

Thanks Gablaze23, guess your are right. i now days kind of live a sedentary life, maybe that is actually making my brain a bit dull coz i feel very heavy headed after a while and lose concentration.

Thanks everyone, all the best for your prep.
