I have been doing well in the SC in the verbal sectional tests , but yesterday I appeared for MGMAT 01 and was shocked to see get only 3/13 correct , CR an RC came to the rescue but I managed a bad score of 32 , i know i was capable of scoring 38-40 atleast , but given the poor SC day , score reduced to 32. I want to know what should be done to get at least 70% correct in SC , I have done MGMAT SC and taken notes the first time i went through it , also I make note of every SC i get wrong on verbal sectional test. I want to know whether I might be doing something fundamentally wrong in SC, also when I started with SCs earlier speed was ok , now I am taking more time in SC and less in CR and RC.

Hi,
Did you complete OG 12 ? What was your method of tacking OG 12 when doing sc questions from it ?
1. Since you have your notes from Mgmat. Review it
2. Read Aristotle SC , a concise 140 pages that very well summarizes all concepts you learnt from Mgmat SC.
- Do all 100 S problems from Aristotle SC Grail Question Bank. The Grail along with with QB costs only around 15 $ from https://www.aristotleprep.com/
- Do Mgmat SC question bank of 25 questions. Review the solutions and re do all problems you got wrong. The QB is only 5$ and available on Mgmat website.
3. Start doing OG 12 questions in sets per day.
4. Put aside 2-3 hours and do as many problems as you can from OG 12.
5. Mark all your answers in an error log . see gmatclub-guide-to-og-12-some-potential-updates-112984.html and download the gmat guide to OG 12 log.
6. Review your answers and mark all you got wrong , you felt hard or those you guesses. Review the solutions from them.
7. Next day , start doing all the problems you marked from previous day and get as many as correct. After all you have review them the previous day. Continue with today's set of problems. Mark your answers in the error log.
8. The above process helps you achieve accuracy in SC !
9. Do 54 non overlapping SC problems from OG 11 again using an error log and gauge your performance . See if your accuracy increased ? non-overlapping-questions-between-og-11-and-og-12-verbal-119145.html
What are the verbal sectional tests you are talking of ? The ones you get in Kaplan Gmat Premier CDROM ?
