Quick version on me: I graduated summa cum laude in journalism and mass communications in '04. With the exception of a one-month break in '07 due to relocation, I've worked full-time since February '05. Last four years or so have been in web marketing.
As might be gathered from my background, the verbal piece is basically the least of my worries. But the quant has been killing me. I started GMAT prep over the Christmas break, when I studied nonstop for about six days. During that time frame I worked my way through most of two Barron's guides. At the end of the break the OG and OG quant guides arrived from Amazon, which have been the backbone of my study since then. Since going back to work January 3 I've averaged a few hours a day (~3 a day M-F, 5-6 on Saturday).
I do feel like I'm improving my quant understanding, and I'm also aided by my wife (majored in aerospace, now teaches high school math). But I just ran across this:

Here is a note for quant: OGs don’t reflect the standards of real GMAT quant. So don’t get hung up on that. GMAT quant questions are way tougher and trickier than OG problem. The GMAT prep software is the only standard comparable with real GMAT. I had Jeff Sackman, but didn’t use it.
What do you think? Should I ramp up to something harder from the OG? Is there another method or source for quant prep that you would recommend?
