Hi Everyone,
I have been loosely following the recommended 3 month study guide; at what point do people move to Verbal? Do you wait until you master quant or study quant for a month then move to verbal no matter what you're scoring, then finalize both topics during the third month?
I'm trying to take the GMAT June 2nd (although I haven't scheduled so I can push it out), looking to score 700+. After reviewing the quant for about a month (on and off), i'm scoring around 40. Should I continue to study quant or move on to verbal for the next month then tighten up both verbal/quant in May (3rd month of study guide).

Your quant seems okay, so you can incorporate verbal into your studies soon. But do not phase out your math studies entirely. You need to maintain progress there and still improve if your goal is in the 700 range. The trick, then, is to find a balance that allows you to improve in both.
