I took my test for the third time this past Thursday and scored a 640. This was the third time that I took my exam. Here are my scores
January 2013 510 Q35 V 30
February 2013 580 Q 35 V 35
March 2013 640 Q 35 V 44 (97 percentile on verbal!)
As evident by my scores, I have not made any improvement on the quantitative section of the exam. I did not focus on math before my first examination but did review daily for five weeks between the second and third examination. I purchased the Manhattan study guides and worked through most of the problems but never felt confident that I had "mastered" any of them. I have not taken any math since taking Advanced Calculus II back in high school (over a decade ago; I'm 29).
I feel confident that I can score higher than the 36th percentile in the quantitative section. However I also realize that I have now taken the exam THREE times and have not made any improvement. (But the 700 looks so close now!) Please give me your opinion as to what my best strategy should be now. Should I retake the exam? If so, what are the best resources that I should use?
P.S I have a BA from Texas A&M University. I earned my bachelor's degree in two years with a 4.0 in my major (Political Science) and 3.61 gpa overall. I'm Mexican American and the first member of my family to graduate from high school/college. I have outstanding letters of recommendation and five years of work experience. I'm the only one at my workplace to have received a perfect score on his/her evaluation (about 5,000 employees).

Practice more! you have shown good improvement, but really 10 weeks is not that long considering your level. You probably have 1 more shot before schools start to question the number of times you have taken the exam. I am a big fan of the GMAT Prepster Quant Guide (Obviously) and it now comes with step by step answer explanations for the OG 13 and QR 2 to help you figure out your weaknesses. Happy to show you an example or two if you are interested.
