Hi Guys...
I am just starting my preparation for GMAT...and i need your help in devising an efficient Study Plan..
On my mock Zero i Scored

Q:47 and V22

I need help, I am targeting a score above 700.
From this initial test i can infer that quant is fine but my verbal is so terrible.
Please suggest me a study Plan and the resources i should refer to achieve my target score of Q51 and V40.

Your Suggestions will help me a lot because I am very confused at this point of time and have no idea as where to start form and what resources to follow....
I have around 3-4 months for preparation.


Please Post your suggestions as this thread will help all those who are starting their preparations and are in similar dilema...

I am not sure what you expect since all you said is my Verbal score is low.
I would say - work on your verbal score... just like everyone else is using the MGMAT, Veritas Prep, or Kaplan books or the eGMAT or GMAT Pill, or Magoosh online courses. They are about equivalent in terms of the price.

Hi bb

I appreciate you replied....

I know about all these courses available in the market but what i actually wanted to know is that in my case specifically where i want to go from
Q47 to Q51
V22 to V40

which material should i refer for both Q and V since now i know my base level form where i have to build upon...
and what should be my strategy or study plan...
Another thing that i am not sure is how much time it takes for going from my current level to targeted level...this has also left me undecided on when should i be planning on giving my GMAT.

Your take on this?


Really appreciate if you could provide some helpful links.

Thanks for posting. I'd encourage you to take a step back before you have decided the exact quant/verbal raw scores you are looking to get. Taking a practice test is good -- but it will take real work to get to both of those scores.
