Hey you guys,
Im preparing for the Gmat for 1 month now and I have some problems. I made a
MGMAT CAT exam every week:
1. 630 (q42..
2. 600(q41..
3. 620(q39..
4. 600(q42..
5. 620 (q39..
Actually every score in the range of 600 is ok for me because I don't need more. However I can't understand why I am that bad at Quant and I have the distinct feeling that
MGMAT has just a too hard Quant part...
As I went through the OG I had nearly 90 % of all the questions in the Quant part right (first try) and when I see the questions I got wrong in the
MGMAT CAT there was always some kind of trick in the question for example they show you a picture of a triangle inscribed in a circle and it clearly shows that one of the sides of the triangle is the diameter, yet this is a wrong assumption in DS. Those kind of questions are not about mathematical skill in my opinion but they just intend to trick you !
I dont want to offend anyone but everything in my life that had something to do with math I was one of the best students and I would say that I have quite a talent for things like that. So this should mean that when I prepare for something like this I should be at least slightly above average...which I also was in OG Diagonstic test...
Can somebody help me in this situation. Everytime I took a new test I was sure this time I will be better at Quant but again Verbal saved me...
And more important: Why on earth was my first test the best ???? I learned so much in math in these 4 weeks and still when I didn't prepare at all that was my best score.
Can somebody give me few tips or just state whether
MGMAT CAT is actually that hard in Quant ?
Kind regards
Marlo
