Hi Janielle,

Thanks got the reply.

I'm gunning for R2 deadlines. i prepared myself to give in last week of oct so that i get time for my application process. I have not taken the date yet so i can think of giving in Nov. Currently, i can put 9 hrs daily for preparation if in month's time i think i can score 700+, i will give in oct else Nov.

Thank you for suggesting your course. I will go through it.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for replying.

As you said, my concern is same, raising 280+ in 2 months time. I have read, people have able to increase maximum of 100+ in 2 months. I can put 9 hrs daily for my preparation. i can give in november but my concern i should not be late for application course. I heard that it's good to give exam by oct so that i don't missed out the application deadlines.

1. I'm planning to apply as soon as i'm done with exam for Fall 2016.
2. I have not listed the schools yet.

Thank you

Hi rupzjain,

Planning to study 9 hours a day for any extended period of time is NOT a good idea; you're more likely to 'burn out' than achieve your goals, so you should plan for less study time per day (and you do NOT have to study every day - taking 1 day 'off' per week is generally a good idea).

2 months of study time will give you plenty of time to train, but you're likely going to need at least 3 months of consistent study time to hit your score goal. With that larger time commitment, you would still have time to work on your Round 2 applications (but there would likely be some 'overlap' with your GMAT studies).

You'll likely get a much better sense of all of this once you've started studying. You should proceed with your plan for the next couple of weeks, then take another FULL-LENGTH CAT so that you can measure your progress. We can then talk about any adjustments to your studies.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
