Hi All,
I have been studying GMAT on and off for approximately 6 month with huge breakes. Started with Kaplan materials, Magoosh videos and tests, OG 15, went through couple of MGMAT books and taking Economist online. I took one CAT before I started studying and got 430. After some self study and Economist study I took CAT and got 350.
I continued my study and after a month of persistent studies took a CAT and got 420, next CAT 430. I am studying every day 2-3 hours a day, my math seem pretty bad though, either I have no idea how to solve the problem, or it take me way too long to solve it (15-20 minutes sometime). I went through Manhattan math foundation and have refreshed my basics, I can solve problems in math foundation and MGMAT books without any effort, but when I see OG problem sets, most of the time I have no idea how to approach the problem.
Verbal part seeem easier to me, but I get only 70+% accuracy while solving OG problems and got verbal 23 on last CAT. Strangely I get harder questions right and easy questions wrong on verbal. Same with math, I understand DS, but PS is my nightmare.
I am so frustrated and burnt out. How shoul I study? I need to improve my score from 400+ to at least 600+. I have 2 month and 2-3 hours a day. Is that something that I can achieve and what am I doing wrong?

Surely you can hit the target score. One thing I would advice doing against is following too many study materials. Pick one and stick to that. Go back to the basics again and make sure you note down all the concepts in your notebook. The OG problems are based on the application of very simple basics. If you want you can take more resources for the official questions and practice from them.
The other place where you need to improve is the speed with which you solve the questions.
Taking 15 - 20 minutes solving a question on the GMAT will be disastrous. Try solving the question for 2 minutes and see if you are close to getting an answer. If yes, continue for a minute more, else gues the question and move ahead. There is a huge penalty for not completing the test.

From what you've described, 'your way' of approaching the study process just isn't leading to the big improvement that you're looking for. Given that your score goal is about 200+ points away, and you have about 2 months of study time remaining, I think that you would benefit a great deal from enrolling in a GMAT Course of some type (either Guided Self-Study or instructor-led). Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at out site (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.
