Hi Jaymx,

You posted some questions in an earlier post here:

gmat-prepnow-videos-or-mgmat-book-package-212710.html#p1639641

But you never responded with any follow-up information. The broader advice that you're looking for will be based on the answers to those questions. As far as the Official Guides are concerned, any of the recent versions (going back to the OG13) will be fine - as far as having a large sampling of realistic questions is concerned. The more recent versions of those books (from the GMAT2015 onwards) include some additional online resources that you might find to be beneficial though.

I just noticed that Official GMAT 2017 is soon to be released. From past experience are previous Versions, e.g. OG 2015, 2016 sufficient enough to prepare for the test?

The books have undergone changes in the past, but that do not warrant waiting for a new OG.
It would be better if you started off with the OG 2016. This book has 25% new questions and also has additional online resources.

Get 2015 and 2017, IMO. 2016 has some 2015 questions removed, and 2017 has further 2015 questions removed.
