Books or Manhattan prep on demand

Question

This weekend i have to take a decision. I will either buy manhattan gmat books (+advanced quant) og and critical reasoning bible or just buy the manhattan preperation on demand.

The later includes the ogs and all the books mention above except the critical reasoning bible.

What's your thinking about my study plan?

If i choose the book only route do we have a link about a study plan that will guide me what to study the first day second day etc.

My target score is 640-650 . My first diagnostic from mba.com was 510 and the second one was 560. I have 4 months to study.

Hi, I actually ended up taking a live Manhattan course with Ron Purewal. Here's my advice: Depending on your learning style: a) You may get away with just getting the Manhattan Books and doing a self-prep. During a self-prep, make sure to get the latest syllabus from the Manhattan website - IT IS FREE once you purchase the books (or just do a google search "Manhattan GMAT syllabus .pdf", or you can PM me and I'll share my syllabus). Why is the syllabus important? When covering topics, the syllabus will make you open up the Official Guide and do specific targeted practice over materials you just covered in the book. b) You could get Manhattan on-demand granted that benefits of a guided & spoon-fed learning (where you still have to do the heavy lifting by doing OG problems) outweigh the costs of the course. In the end, you still have to read the chapters in the Manhattan books before or after the on-demand lectures! Self-guided prep vs on-demand? Just keep in mind that you still need to dedicate 2.5-3 months to the prep regardless of the path you choose in order to give GMAT your best. Also, make sure to spread out your study sessions evenly by doing 2-3 hours per day (your brain will learn best that way instead of doing crazy 6-8hr/day on the weekends). You need to build the concepts/fundamentals before you jump in solving the problems. You can do so by choosing one of the following ways: 1. In person classes/private tutoring 2. Online classes 3.
