Thanks. That's very good to know.

Actually, I didn't reschedule the test because I don't have $ 250 to waste.

I tried to reschedule last week. I naively thought this would be possible until right before the test date for a "humble" fee of $50. I found out that this is in fact not the case. If the test date is less than 10 days out they will charge the full fee for rescheduling and that's exactly why I decided I would take the exam although I am not ready. I didn't want to throw away my money like that. :)

So that's also a good thing to know for everyone here (although I am sure most people already know).... rescheduling is only possible for a fee of $50 until 10 days before test day.

bb

Also since you can resurrect your score for a humble $50 fee, as long as you have money, and it sounds like you do because you're taking a test knowing that you're not ready, you absolutely can cancel the test unless it's the score you need.

Ah. I am sorry, I have assumed too much and misjudged :)
Hopefully a good lesson for you on the CR and those darn assumptions - good luck on the test!

Thank you. Yes, if you try to reschedule less than 7 days out, it is full test fee (used to be $200, now $250). However, You should be OK if you are within 10 days.
Here is the official information: https://www.mba.com/us/the-gmat-exam/register.aspx#tab4

Quote:
Rescheduling Fees

A rescheduling fee will apply as stated below:

More than 7 calendar days before the scheduled test date, time, or location: US$50.00 fee (each time you reschedule)
Within 7 calendar days before the scheduled test date, time, or location: Additional US$250.00 fee

Hi there, was hoping you could help me with a cancellation/reinstatement dilemma.

I took the GMAT three times, cancelling twice (both 670) and keeping once (690 - 48 M, 38 V). However. On one of the Cancelled scores, I received a 41 V but a much lower M, and the other I scored a 49 M but a lower V. Does it make sense to reinstate my scores so that schools can see that I have gotten as high as 49 M and 41 V, albeit on different exams? Or should I keep them cancelled? Thanks!
