Hi,
Just under a week left before my test and I've just taken an official GMATPrep Test (#4). I scored a 730 47Q/42V but I'm confused how the verbal score is so low when I only answered 3 questions incorrect (2SC, 1RC), #2, #8, #18. I understand the GMATPrep scoring algorithm is not the same as the actual test, but the GMATPrep seems to weigh its scoring heavily on the first 10 questions for verbal.
I've scored 44/45 on previous tests getting 6 questions wrong so I'm not sure what's going on here.
I'm at a loss at how to improve my verbal if the margin of error for getting above a 44/45 is so low.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You missed only 3 questions because the questions presented to you following the incorrectly answered question 8 were relatively easy. If you had got the first 10 questions all right, you would have been given more difficult questions and therefore would likely have missed more.
