Hello all
I am doing my mock exams these days. I chose to do all the mock exams by GMATPrep: Exams 1, 2,3, 4, 5 and 6. I did Exams 1,2 and 3 so far and I noticed that all the questions are old! all of them are posted here in the gmatclub since 2013! I was under the impression that those questions are up to date questions released by GMAC!
Any explanation?

Yes, you are correct: the free GMATPrep tests consist of only old, retired GMAT questions--questions that have not appeared on a real GMAT for at least 5 years. Keep in mind that even that the current iteration of the free GMATPrep software itself has been around for 5 years, so that makes all of the questions from Exams 1 and 2 at least 10 years old!
So yes, these questions have been around the block a time or two. However, the good news is that the age of these questions means that there are now plenty of helpful explanations here on GMAT Club--especially for the Quant questions. You might even say that some things get better with age...
For example, did you know that there are approximately 1,500 questions in the overall Question Bank of Exams 1 and 2?
Presumably, the questions from Exam Pack 2 are the newest of the bunch, but in this case "newest" means that they are still over 5 years old. They still make for great practice, though...even if you might have seen them before on GMAT Club forums.

It's not important for the questions to be very recent. The GMAT exam doesn't change much over time, and the questions on the GMATPrep tests are still relevant. Beyond that, it's the responsibility of test takers to ensure that they don't do GMATPrep questions before taking those tests if they want to see questions that they haven't done before. The GMAC will find it hard, if not impossible, to prevent people from posting questions on public forums.
