Hello Gmatters...
Right now, I feel so depressed with the score that I just received. I start to wonder MBA aside, is GMAT really something I can achieve?
Prior to the exam, I did 2 mock test, and based on the other reviews and preparation i just read, it seems like 2 mock test is nothing.
It's pass 3 hours since I took the test and feel like a total loser(could express it worse), but deep down I do not want to give up on GMAT and really want to achieve a good score(700+).
I looked at my score and straight away cancelled to submit it.
I read that getting a low score isn't the end of the world, but when the score hit me,I felt my world ended.
My preparation goes like this, and I will really appreciate your advice of any kind.
Gmat preparation started November 2016, starting with verbal, watching almost 100 videos related to verbal part.
For SC, i got the hang of it when it comes to Singular/plural, differentiating dangling modifiers, though a few careless mistakes(could deduct my score dearly)
My weakness would be in more in RC and some parts in CR.
In RC, I feel that I'm having difficulty reorganising the flow of the passage. maybe it's my lack of concentration and of understanding the complex flow?
In CR, STR/WKN would be occasionally easy, however getting confused with some of the answer choices. Same goes with evaluation, assumption and inference questions.
Moving on to Quant since March, it's another hurdle that I need to overcome.
Again, i've been going through videos and explanations of the fundamentals of Quant topics.
Although I understand the fundamentals of quant topics, my weakness is when I try to solve the questions.
I have been practicing on the questions that I have(bunch of GWD files, is it legit?) maybe I seem to miss out on the importance of solving them.
After my prep, I thought I would get a decent score but it was worse than expected.
Although it's just 2 practice tests on the GMATprep, can i just improve on the GMATprep program?
Nonetheless, I feel I can improve so much but where, how to start?
Are there any cost-free guides that I can look into? or any guides that can be helpful in line with the current gmat test trends?
I would really appreciate any of your advice.
Desperate soul.
