Should i cancel my score?

Question

Help! I scored 680 (Q:46 V:37) on my first exam and just took my second and scored 640. (Q:49 v:29) I did horribly on verbal my second exam

I didn’t have much time to think so I reported my score since I did better on my quant even though i did way worse on my verbal. I have 72 hours to change my mine... should I cancel my score? I am planning to retake a third exam in 3 weeks... Please advise!

I would recommend you to cancel the score since you have a limited window.
The reason I say this is a 640 looks weaker than the 680.
IMO a slightly higher Quant percentile will not increase your chances drastically.

Work on your third attempt and try and score the best possible score.
You might want to order an ESR before your third attempt, since it would
help understand what your problem areas are! Focus on those areas and 
give your best shot.

q46 is pretty strong and should be fine at almost any school but the top few. I would stick with the 680 for now and cancel the other.

I'd also work on verbal to gain some more consistency if you would like try again, an ESR would be helpful here as mentioned in the above post. If you can duplicate that q49 and have a verbal in the high 30s you will have a very nice score

As others have advised, I too think you should cancel.

You have hit Q49 and V37 in separate attempts. Try to hit it together in the 3rd one and you will be done. Good luck.
