Hi ishitagohil,
Back in September, you posted that you had taken the first GMAC practice CAT twice (
https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-impro ... l#p1931565). You've mentioned that you scored 600 and 590 on the two Official CATs, but if those were CATs that you took BEFORE (and possibly multiple times before), then those two Score results are likely 'inflated' - meaning that they were not accurate measures of your GMAT 'ability level.'
In that earlier thread, I mentioned the following (but it bears repeating): Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores. If you're really only done 10 days of consistent/serious study, then that would explain why you have not scored higher on the Official GMAT yet. To hit 700+, you need to put in the necessary time and effort to learn the content, Tactics, patterns and little 'secrets' to the GMAT. A Test Date in late January would give you approximately 6 weeks of additional study time. However, raising a 500 to a 700+ will likely take at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections.
1) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
2) What are the exact application deadlines for each of those Schools?
