Hi godcannon,

GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Your 4 Official GMAT Scores show that you essentially performed the same each time (about 550 +/- a few Scaled Score points). Since these Scores are over the course of 3+ years, it's clear how consistent you are with your performance on Test Day - you handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also make certain consistent mistakes. In simple terms, "your way" of approaching the GMAT will almost certainly continue to earn you a score in the mid-500s, so you CANNOT afford to keep thinking about this Test in the same ways.

Raising a 550 to a 680+ will likely take at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study - and potentially longer if you're 'stubborn' about the process. You'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections and ultimately about how you "see" (and respond to) the Exam.

1) Which of the various practice CATs have you NOT taken yet?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
4) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
