Hey all,

I've scheduled my GMAT exam on Saturday, October 20th but due to family circumstances I have to reschedule it to November. Does anyone reschedule the exam before?

What are the pros and cons for the reschedule?

I've rescheduled the exam before. Apart from the rescheduling fee and the slot availability, I don't see any cons. Note that it is best to take the GMAT exam when you are fully prepared and in the best frame of mind, so you give it your best shot.

There's a payment that needs to be made (early reschedule: $60). What you really need to consider however, is the impact on your preparation and your applications. If there's going to be a "break" in your prep, you should plan accordingly. As workout mentioned, you should be well prepared to take the exam—ideally at or near your "peak".
