rather than reading articles
can i do more rcs instead?
ps im doing 3 rcs daily
Hi
manjot123,
If you think you read slow then READING everyday since the beginning of the Prep is key to success in Verbal. If you have always been an avid reader then RC would least trouble in GMAT.
Here is what you should do:1. Reading: When we get a passage on a topic that we are not so familiar with then we take more time in reading to fully understand the passage. So pick all those topics that for reading that were challenging when you did an RC. This will help you reduce the reading time immensely.
2. practice: Practice from Official content &
MGMAT. Do 2-3 passages in one go with timer and then do without timer. Only then check answer and analyze where did you go wrong.
3. Strategy: Do practice with strategy and get used to it. Learn how to read, where to pause while reading, what all key words are very important etc.
Read passage with complete engagement and enthusiasm and look for WHY a line, a para and the entire passage is written and Know the tone of each para & passage.
In GMAT RC, WHY is way too important than WHAT author has written. Hope it helps.
