Hi 116610LV,

If your 1st attempt was May 15th, 2018 and you've taken the GMAT 4 additional times since then, then your next attempt (re: 6th attempt) cannot be until May 15th (or possibly May 16th depending on how literally GMAC refers to the "12-month period"). However, you're still bound by the rolling 12-month 'window' - meaning that the date of your 2nd attempt would then dictate the earliest that you could take your 7th attempt.

Since you've taken the GMAT 5 times, there's clearly been something 'missing' from your performances on Test Day (and by extension, from your studies leading up to those Test Days). Before I can offer you any advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) On what dates did you take your 5 Official GMATs and what were your Scores (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
2) How long did you study before each attempt?
3) What study materials have you used so far?
4) Which 'brands' of practice CATs/mocks have you used and how have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
5) What is your goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi 116610LV,

I agree that you won’t be able to take your next GMAT until around May 15 or May 16 of this year. However, I also agree that the more pressing issue is that you seem to have taken your previously GMATs preemptively and thus not achieved your goal score.

I’d be happy to provide some further advice regarding your study plan, so once you answer the questions already asked, I can provide some detailed advice. In the meantime, you may find it helpful to read the following articles: The Phases of Preparing for the GMAT and How Long Should I Study for the GMAT?

Good luck!
