Hi aidyn,

700 is a great start!! Nice work. So, although IR is considered less important than quant and verbal, schools still do care about your IR score in the sense that scoring very low in those sections would probably be a red flag on your application. That said, schools may have differing thoughts on IR, so to get a definitive answer to your question, consider reaching out to the folks in admissions.

Regarding how and when to study IR, since Integrated Reasoning contains components of both verbal and quant, a good plan is to first complete your quant and verbal prep, and then move to Integrated Reasoning. After all, when practicing Integrated Reasoning, you don’t want to get bogged down with things such as calculating a weighted average or percent change, or understanding how to evaluate a basic argument. Have you completed your verbal and quant prep? If so, you can find some great IR practice questions here.

Lastly, you may find it helpful to read the following articles: Mastering Integrated Reasoning on the GMAT and How to Score a 700+ on the GMAT — A Mini Guide for Success.

Feel free to reach out with further questions. Good luck!

Hi Scott, Rich,

Thanks so much for your feedback.
Noted on the resources you provide. I will be sure to work on my IR.

I will also work hard on my quant. I realized there are plenty of questions I answered wrongly due to miscalculation. Tracing back, I don't even know how I exactly arrived at some of the answers I picked
