Hello!
I'm an Italian test taker who had to reschedule the exam because of the Corona Virus. Now I'm in Switzerland because my parents live there and I'm scared that the test centers in Italy won't be open the day of the rescheduled exam (10th of April). Hence, I want to schedule the exam also here in Switzerland.
The mba website tells that I need the passport if I come from a different country, but I don't need the passport even to cross the border so I don't understand why do I need it to do an exam
The problem is that I don't have any passport at all and I can't come back in Italy to make it because the borders are closed from today to the 6th of April (if we're lucky!).
Do you guys find yourselves in a similar situation? Do you know if I really need a passport in the Schengen area or in the E.U.?

Welcome to Gmatclub. I heard that 130 people died in last 24 hours in Italy and that there is a lockdown in 14 provinces of Italy.
It is mandatory to show your Passport if you are giving the exam in the another country. As cases are increasing, people will be effected by the current scenario. I think, GMAT centers will be closed. I don't know if GMAC will give a relaxation to appear in other countries without a passport. It would be best if you can write GMAC an email and ask for a relaxation. I am sure, there will be many others who are looking for this information. Let us know what it respond.
